Junior AI Automation Developer

We are looking for a Junior AI Automation Developer to support the technical side of our commercial advisory practice. Our work focuses on helping clients navigate complex investment environments where standard reports often fall short. We are currently supporting an Amsterdam based maritime technology group with their market entry strategies, and this role will involve building the automated systems needed to gather and process counterparty data. This is a fully remote position that offers the chance to see how high level commercial decisions are made while working on technical solutions that have a direct impact on our advisory work. What you will do Develop and deploy basic automation scripts to collect information on market competitors and regulatory changes in specific territories. Configure and tune AI models to help summarize lengthy legal and financial documents for our senior partners. Maintain the data pipelines that feed into our counterparty analysis reports, ensuring information flows correctly between systems. Work closely with advisors to ensure the AI tools we use are grounded in the specific logic of the markets we cover. Create internal tools or simple interfaces that allow partners to query our research databases using natural language. Verify the integrity of data gathered through automated means, ensuring every point can be backed by evidence of actual market behavior. Experiment with new ways to automate repetitive research tasks to help our senior team focus on strategic negotiation support. Assist in documenting our technical workflows to ensure the firm knowledge stays organized and accessible for future engagements. What you bring A basic grasp of programming, specifically in languages like Python that are common in data automation and processing. Genuine curiosity about how artificial intelligence can be applied to practical, commercial problems rather than just theoretical ones. A high standard for accuracy and a cautious approach to data, regularly checking for errors or inconsistencies in automated outputs. The ability to communicate technical progress and roadblocks clearly to team members who may not have a coding background. An interest in commerce and how private deals interact with state capital in various international markets. Strong organizational skills and the ability to track multiple small technical tasks at once. A willingness to learn and adapt as the tools we use for market research and data analysis continue to change.
