Position Summary We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Full Stack C# .NET Developer to join our development team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience designing, developing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications using Microsoft technologies. This role requires strong technical expertise, architectural experience, and the ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality software solutions. Location & Work Arrangement Location: Montreal, Quebec This position is based in our Montreal office and requires employees to work on-site five days per week. We value in-person collaboration and believe it plays an important role in fostering teamwork, innovation, and effective communication. For this role, English is the primary working language for all day-to-day communication, documentation, and collaboration. Proficiency in French is considered an asset and is welcome; however, it is not a requirement, as the core responsibilities of the position are conducted in English. Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable web applications using C# and .NET technologies.Lead the architecture and design of software solutions following industry best practices.Develop and optimize SQL Server databases, stored procedures, and queries.Create responsive and user-friendly front-end interfaces using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and modern UI/UX principles.Collaborate with business analysts, product owners, and stakeholders to define technical requirements.Implement and promote software design patterns, coding standards, and development best practices.Write and maintain unit tests and support automated testing initiatives.Conduct code reviews and mentor other developers.Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve application issues.Participate in Agile/Scrum development activities. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree or higher in Software Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.Minimum 8 years of professional software development experience.Strong expertise in C# and .NET Framework/.NET.Strong experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including database design and performance optimization.Solid understanding of software architecture and design principles.Strong experience with JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and UI/UX design concepts.Strong knowledge of object-oriented programming principles.Proven experience with unit testing and software design patterns.Experience developing RESTful APIs and web-based applications.Secure application development practicesMentoring and technical leadershipStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Experience working in Agile development environments. Preferred Qualifications Experience in the Insurance or Financial Services industry.Experience with Microsoft Azure services.Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices.Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks such as Angular, React, or Vue.js.
