This role focuses on building, enhancing, and maintaining modern cloud-native systems with an emphasis on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Primary Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain APIs within a serverless AWS environmentCollaborate with stakeholders, project managers, QA, and development teamsDevelop, test, and deploy high-quality, maintainable code using modern testing frameworks (Mocha/Chai)Improve system performance, scalability, and availability across complex applicationsParticipate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and iterative development cyclesSupport ongoing feature enhancements, UI improvements, and system updates
Requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in a related field (required)5+ years of backend and/or full-stack development experienceProficiency in NodeJS, TypeScript, and JavaScriptHands-on experience with AWS services, including:AWS LambdaAPI GatewayCloudFormationS3, SNS, SQSExperience with ElasticSearchStrong experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
Preferred Experience
Experience supporting federal or government technology programs
