We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner!
The Role
Design, implement, and operate the Privileged Access Management solution based on Teleport, securing access to Kubernetes clusters, databases, and servers.
Expand and ensure scalability and stability of multi-cloud infrastructure on Microsoft Azure (incl.
AKS) and VMware vSphere using Terraform.
Be responsible for the operation and further development of the Kubernetes platform, including GitOps-based application deployment with ArgoCD, Helm, and Kustomize.
Operate highly available PostgreSQL clusters on Kubernetes with CloudNativePG (CNPG) and the Crunchy Postgres Operator, ensuring performance, resilience, and data security.
Drive automation with Ansible, expand GitLab CI/CD pipelines, enhance OpenTelemetry-based observability, and develop security and AI-powered automation solutions.
What You'll Need
Several years of relevant professional experience as a DevOps Engineer, Site Reliability Engineer, or Cloud Engineer with a focus on Kubernetes, PAM, and infrastructure automation.
Completed degree in (Business) Informatics, Information Security, Mathematics, Physics, or a comparable MINT subject; relevant certifications (e.g., Kubernetes, Terraform, Linux, Azure) are a plus.
In-depth practical experience with Terraform, Ansible, Kubernetes (AKS advantageous), Helm, Kustomize, ArgoCD/GitOps, PostgreSQL on Kubernetes (CloudNativePG, Crunchy Operator), OpenTelemetry, GitLab CI/CD.
Ideally, experience with Teleport or similar PAM solutions.
Business fluent German and English skills, both written and spoken.
Analytical, structured, and security-conscious way of working, high degree of personal responsibility, strong teamwork and communication skills, and enthusiasm for modern, AI-supported engineering workflows.
