The Impact You Will Have
Apply trading domain knowledge, financial quantitative expertise, and technical skills to create solutions where design, strategy, and engineering closely intersect.Be involved in the entire software development process, from requirements and design reviews as we undergo asset class expansion throughout the whole platformShape and optimize a tech stack leveraging AWS back-end services to power robust, scalable applications.Participate in the creation and construction of developer-based automation that leads to scalable, high-quality applications customers will depend on to run their businessesAdvocate design and development best practices in pragmatic mannerCoach, mentor, and inspire teams of product engineers that are responsible for delivering high performing, secure enterprise applicationsThink creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly along the wayContribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
What We Look For
5+ years in a software engineering with a history of architecting and designing new products and technologiesIn depth knowledge in Java or Kotlin and Spring/SpringbootBachelor degree in Computer Science or equivalent disciplineDemonstrated experience of applying Design Patterns, OOAD/SOLID principles and writing automated unit testsStrong motivation to explore and adopt new technologies while independently navigating complex codebasesFinds joy and satisfaction in working with motivated/supportive engineers to build impactful solutionsStrong problem-solving skills and an aptitude for tackling technical challenges.Ability to communicate effectivelyA positive attitude with a serious interest in having fun at work.

Compensation And Benefits
The typical starting salary range for new hires in this role is listed below.
In select locations (including, the San Francisco Bay Area, CA, and the New York City Metro Area), an alternate range may apply as specified below.
The typical starting salary range for this role in the select locations listed above is: $168,000 - $210,000
Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
