Job Description We are seeking a Senior Consultant to deliver high quality technical consulting across VMware Cloud Foundation and sovereign cloud engagements. This delivery focused role translates approved architectures into reliable implementation outcomes, ensuring build, configuration, validation and lifecycle activities meet practice standards. You will identify risks early, maintain strong documentation quality, support customer technical teams and contribute reusable delivery patterns back into the practice. The role offers a defined pathway into architectural positions as consultants build deeper design capability and platform expertise. Duties and Responsibilities Deliver billable consulting work aligned to approved architectures and Statements of WorkExecute VCF build, configuration, validation, lifecycle and operational activities according to practice standardsOwn assigned delivery workstreams from planning through completion with limited supervisionProduce accurate, clean and reusable as built documentationRaise design issues, delivery risks, blockers and scope concerns earlySupport customer workshops, technical discussions and operational handover sessionsContribute field learnings, implementation patterns and reusable artefacts back into the practiceMaintain accurate timesheets, status updates and delivery reporting Education/Certifications Required 4+ years hands on experience with VMware Cloud Foundation or related VMware technologiesRecent hands on experience with VCF 9 or VCF 5.2 / vSphere 8 in production or delivery contextsExperience delivering infrastructure, virtualisation, cloud or private cloud consulting engagements Knowledge/Skills Required Strong experience across vSphere, ESXi, vCenter, vSAN and NSXExperience implementing solutions from existing designs including build, configuration and validationStrong troubleshooting capability across platform, infrastructure, networking and operational issuesExperience producing customer facing technical documentationExperience working in structured delivery environments with scope boundaries and formal handoverAbility to engage directly with customer technical teams Highly Desirable NSX delivery experience including segments, Tier 0 and Tier 1 gateways, distributed firewall, load balancing and VPC constructsVKS, Tanzu or Kubernetes platform delivery experience, particularly where platform services intersect with VCF architecture, networking and operations Desirable Infrastructure automation using PowerCLI, Ansible or TerraformvSAN and storage delivery including prerequisites, policies and dependenciesVCF lifecycle experience across greenfield builds, upgrades, patching and interoperabilityEnterprise Linux administration Employment Benefits Clear progression pathway into architecture rolesWork within a high performing sovereign cloud practiceExposure to complex, regulated and mission critical customer environmentsSupport for certification progression including VCF 9 Administrator and VCAP specialisationsCollaborative team culture with strong mentoring and knowledge sharing Diversity and Inclusion We are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace.
