Responsibilities Join TeamViewer as an Intern in our Software Engineering team and help us explore modern development practices enhanced by AI-assisted tools and workflows. You will work alongside experienced engineers on real-world projects, gain hands-on software development experience, and contribute to building and improving products used by customers around the world. Design, develop, test, and maintain software functionality for our products and servicesWork with technologies including Java, Kotlin, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, C++, C#, and SQLCollaborate closely with experienced Software Engineers in a dynamic Agile environmentUtilize AI-assisted development tools to improve productivity, software quality, and engineering workflowsContribute to implementing new features, enhancements, and bug fixes across different components of our platformParticipate in code reviews, testing activities, and technical discussionsWork independently on solutions for specified requirementsBe responsible for adhering to time and quality specificationsMonitor technology trends and AI-assisted engineering practices and make proposals for improvement Requirements You are currently enrolled in a university program in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related fieldMandatory internship is part of your curriculum and will be used for this positionStrong interest in software development, modern engineering practices, and AI-assisted developmentSolid programming experience in one or more of the following technologies: Java, Kotlin, JavaScript, TypeScript, C++, or C#Basic understanding of SQL and data-driven applications is a plusSolid experience with version control systems such as GitUnderstanding of object-oriented programming principles, Clean Code, and software design fundamentalsAnalytical mindset and strong problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as within a teamFluency in EnglishNice to have: Experience with React and modern web development frameworksNice to have: Experience with AI-assisted development tools such as GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT, Cursor, or similarNice to have: Familiarity with backend development and REST APIsNice to have: Experience with Agile software development methodologiesNice to have: Previous experience through personal projects, open-source contributions, student projects, or internships What We Offer The contract location will be Göppingen, GermanyMake an impact!
