We are seeking an experienced Senior AI / Data Engineer to play a key role in building and operating Snowflake based data platforms that enable GenAI and advanced AI use cases at enterprise scale. The primary focus of this role is designing, building, and operating Snowflake based data platforms that enable GenAI and advanced AI use cases across the organization. This is a data platform first role with strong exposure to GenAI, rather than a pure research or modeling position. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, and operate Snowflake based data platforms supporting analytics, AI, ML, and GenAI workloadsBuild and maintain scalable, reliable data pipelines (batch and real time) using modern cloud data technologiesDesign and optimize cloud native data architectures for performance, scalability, and cost efficiencyIntegrate and manage large, complex datasets from internal and external sourcesEnable advanced GenAI use cases, including Retrieval Augmented Generation (RAG), vector search, and agent based workflowsDesign and develop LLM based agent solutions and agentic workflows integrated with data platformsWork with embeddings, vector databases, indexing, and reranking techniques to improve LLM output qualityCollaborate closely with data scientists and ML engineers to ensure platforms fully support model development and productionMonitor, troubleshoot, and optimize data platforms and pipelines to ensure reliability and scalabilityImplement and improve CI/CD, data quality, and observability practices for data and AI workloadsContribute to platform standards, best practices, and technical evolution across the organization Here's what you'll need 5+ years of experience in data engineering, AI engineering, or platform engineering rolesHands on, production level experience with Snowflake, including data modeling, ELT patterns, and performance optimizationStrong programming skills in Python, Scala, or similar languagesSolid experience with Databricks, Apache Spark, and modern lakehouse or hybrid architecturesPractical understanding of GenAI architectures (RAG, LLM powered systems, agent based workflows)Experience working with vector databases, embeddings, and semantic searchExperience operating data and AI workloads in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or equivalent)Strong analytical mindset, ownership attitude, and ability to design solutions for enterprise scale Nice to have Experience with advanced data indexing and GenAI enablement technologiesFamiliarity with multi cloud or hybrid cloud architecturesExperience in consulting, product driven, or multi project environmentsExposure to large, enterprise scale data and AI ecosystems We offer Full-time employment/b2b contract with a salary that matches your qualificationsHybrid work model - enjoy the flexibility of working mainly from homeFlexible hours - start your day anytime between 730 and 1000 AMComprehensive benefits, including Lux Med medical care, psychological support, life insurance, My Benefit cafeteria system, Multisport card co-financing, and a car/bike park sharing systemPossibility to travel on an occasional basisCo-financed holidays - enjoy "Wczasy pod Gruszą" for a well-deserved break (only under CoE)Global projects - engage in exciting international projects Inclusive networks - join our diverse employee networks like Women's Network, OneWorld, PRISM, Careers Network, Green Team, SpeakUp, Collectively, and moreContinuous learning - participate in our Graduate Development Program, Learners’ Community, and self-learning platformsLanguage courses - enhance your skills with courses in English, German, and Polish We know that if we are inclusive, we’re more connected, and we’re more creative.
