Our Company BEC Engineering is a well-established and respected Electrical, Power and Control Systems Engineering Services firm located in Burswood. The Opportunity We have a fantastic opportunity for a Power Systems / HV engineer to be seconded for between 3 to 6 months in a 4/3 FIFO role with a leading global gold mining client. On completion of the secondment, the position will revert to a full time office based Power Systems Engineer role. The Role Working closely with BEC Engineering's Perth based power team, the role would be goldfields based with a global gold producer who is under taking a major capital upgrade. The role will provide additional technical oversight and engineering support across the clients UG power projects, assist with project execution, support operational reliability initiatives, and help manage the increasing volume of engineering activities associated with the UG expansion. Key Requirements To be successful, you will also have: Electrical Engineering Degree, recognised by Engineers Australia.A demonstrable positive can-do attitude.Excellent technical knowledge in HV power systems, experience with mining applications and brownfield expansions. Well developed interpersonal and communications skills – written and spoken.Willingness to work for at least 3 - 6 months on a 4/3 FIFO (ex-Perth) roster. Full work rights.
