Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Computer Vision Engineer at Laakhe Studios. The Computer Vision Engineer will design, develop, and optimize computer vision algorithms to support creative digital products and interactive experiences. Day-to-day tasks include building and training models, performing pattern recognition, preprocessing and annotating image/video datasets, and integrating computer vision components into production-ready applications. The role also involves collaborating with designers and developers to translate artistic concepts into technically feasible solutions, conducting experiments and evaluations to improve model performance, and documenting workflows and technical specifications. The engineer will be expected to participate in code reviews, maintain clean and scalable code, and stay current with emerging tools and research in computer vision and related fields. Qualifications Strong foundation in Computer Science and Data Science, including algorithms, data structures, and statistical analysis.Hands-on expertise in Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition, with experience building and deploying image/video processing models.Knowledge of Robotics or related automation domains is beneficial, especially for interactive or immersive applications.Proficiency in programming languages commonly used in computer vision (such as Python or C++), and familiarity with libraries like OpenCV, TensorFlow, or PyTorch.Experience working with real-world datasets, including data collection, labeling, augmentation, and performance evaluation.Ability to collaborate effectively in a multidisciplinary, remote team environment and communicate complex technical ideas clearly.Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field.Experience in creative technology, digital media, or design-focused projects is a plus.
