Java Full Stack Developer Location: Canada – Remote Job Type: Contract Experience: 5–9 Years Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Java Full Stack Developer with 5–9 years of hands-on experience in developing modern, scalable, and high-performance web and mobile applications. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise across Angular 16+, Ionic, TypeScript, Node.js, RxJS, NgRx, Java, Spring Boot, MongoDB, Kafka, and event-driven architecture. The candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, integrating, testing, and supporting full-stack applications while collaborating closely with architects, QA engineers, DevOps teams, and other technology stakeholders. Mandatory Technical Skills Angular 16+Ionic FrameworkTypeScriptNode.jsRxJSNgRxJavaSpring BootNoSQL Databases – MongoDBApache KafkaEvent-Driven ArchitectureKey Responsibilities Design and develop responsive web and mobile applications using Angular 16+ and Ionic Framework.Develop reusable and maintainable front-end components using Angular Material, TypeScript, RxJS, NgRx, and SCSS.Build scalable backend services and REST APIs using Java/Spring Boot and Node.js.Design and implement event-driven solutions using Apache Kafka.Develop and integrate microservices and distributed applications.Work with MongoDB and other NoSQL databases for application data storage and processing.Develop applications using relational databases such as Oracle and MySQL when required.Implement efficient state management using NgRx and reactive programming using RxJS.Write clean, reusable, secure, and well-tested code following established development standards.Develop unit and integration tests using Jasmine/Karma and appropriate testing frameworks.Troubleshoot application issues, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, design sessions, and Agile ceremonies.Work closely with QA teams to resolve defects and ensure application quality.Collaborate with DevOps teams to support CI/CD pipelines, automated deployments, and release processes.Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability.Follow best practices for security, coding standards, source control, and software development lifecycle.Required Technical Experience Front-End Development Strong hands-on experience with Angular 16+.Experience developing applications using Ionic Framework for mobile and web platforms.Excellent knowledge of TypeScript, HTML5, CSS3, and SCSS.Strong understanding of RxJS and reactive programming.Hands-on experience with NgRx for state management.Experience with Angular Material UI and responsive design.Back-End Development Strong experience with Java and Spring Boot.Hands-on experience developing RESTful APIs and microservices.Good understanding of Node.js and backend application development.Experience with distributed systems and asynchronous processing.Database & Messaging Hands-on experience with MongoDB / NoSQL databases.Working knowledge of Oracle and MySQL.Strong understanding of Apache Kafka, producers, consumers, topics, partitions, and message-driven applications.Experience implementing event-driven architecture.Testing & DevOps Experience with Jasmine/Karma or equivalent JavaScript/Angular testing frameworks.Understanding of unit, integration, and API testing.Experience working with DevOps and CI/CD tools.Familiarity with source control, automated builds, deployments, and release management.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.5–9 years of professional software development experience.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work effectively in an Agile/Scrum environment.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a distributed development team.
