AI Engineer + Technical Sales / Data Partnerships OpportunityCan you fine-tune an LLM—and then sit across the table from an AI lab and explain why the data that improved it is valuable?
Xpert Systems is looking for a rare combination: an LLM Engineer who is also commercially minded and interested in technical sales/data partnerships.
We have built hundreds of synthetic training and evaluation datasets, agentic datasets, digital twins, synthetic worlds, and specialized AI training environments.
The first part of the opportunity is technical: use AWS and open-weight models to establish before-and-after evidence that training on Xpert data improves specific model capabilities.
Base Model → Baseline → Xpert Data → Fine-Tuning → Evaluation → Measured Improvement
But we don't want the work to stop with an experiment.
The second part is commercial: help us take those results to AI labs, model builders, enterprises, and AI research organizations that need high-quality training and evaluation data.
You would understand the datasets technically, understand what they do to model performance, speak credibly with ML researchers and engineers—and help turn that technical value into commercial data partnerships.
We're particularly interested in people with experience in LLM fine-tuning, Hugging Face, PyTorch, LoRA/QLoRA, AWS GPU infrastructure, model evaluation, benchmarks, synthetic data, or agentic AI who also enjoy talking to customers and developing business.
This can start as a paid technical pilot + sales commission/success-based opportunity, with the potential to grow into a much broader relationship.
