Description

We're hiring on behalf of a Haystack partner! The Role Lead and develop high-performing engineering teams, setting objectives and fostering talent. Own end-to-end delivery of critical software, from requirements to reliability. Elevate engineering excellence through best practices, automation, and secure-by-design principles. Partner with product, design, and operations to translate outcomes into technical plans. Guide architecture modernization, cloud adoption, and technical debt remediation. Ensure compliance, risk management, and operational excellence. What You'll Need Proven leadership of software engineering teams building distributed systems and microservices in agile environments (Scrum/Kanban). Deep Java experience (Spring) and architectural patterns for scalable, observable, testable systems; strong API design. Strong DevOps practices including CI/CD (GitLab), automated testing (JUnit/Spock), code reviews, and observability (Splunk, AppDynamics). Experience with containers (Docker), cloud technologies, and hands-on AI development. Excellent communication and stakeholder influence to simplify complexity and drive continuous improvement.
