About the Role
Our client is hiring a Full-Stack AI Engineer to help build and bring to market a contract operating system for the enterprise.
This person will join as an early engineer on a newly integrated, high-ownership team.
You’ll work directly with the founding team and collaborate closely with engineers, product managers, and designers to architect, build, and own user-facing applications powered by AI agent technology.
This is a strong fit for an engineer who enjoys ambiguous, high-impact problems, wants meaningful product influence, and is already using AI coding tools as part of their daily engineering workflow.
What You’ll Do
Build full-stack product experiences for enterprise contract intelligence softwareWork directly with the founding team in a focused, high-impact product groupArchitect, develop, and own user-facing applications from concept through productionDesign intelligent solutions across frontend, backend, data, and AI agent systemsBuild with AI agent frameworks and modern AI-native development workflowsHelp define technical strategy, engineering standards, and product roadmap executionPromote strong engineering practices across architecture, code quality, testing, CI/CD, and reliabilityInitiate, influence, and drive meaningful technical projectsPartner with product, design, and engineering to shape product directionHelp define success metrics and measurement systems for the engineering teamContribute to products serving enterprise legal, procurement, and contract workflows
What We’re Looking For
4+ years of experience building AI products or AI-powered softwareStrong full-stack engineering experience across backend, frontend, databases, and production systemsProfessional experience with Python, SQL, databases, CI/CD, and GitExperience with AI agent frameworks such as LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or similar toolsDaily use of AI coding tools such as Cursor, Codex, Claude Code, or similar platformsComfort working in ambiguous, fast-changing environmentsStrong ownership mindset and desire to have meaningful impact on the businessAbility to architect and ship high-quality software in a small, focused teamStrong communication and collaboration skills across engineering, product, and designInterest in enterprise software, legal tech, contract intelligence, or AI workflow automation
Bonus Experience
Startup experience or experience operating in a small, high-ownership product teamExperience building AI agents, RAG systems, workflow automation, or enterprise AI applicationsExperience with legal tech, contract lifecycle management, procurement software, or enterprise SaaSExperience working in founder-led teams or post-acquisition product environmentsExperience shaping technical roadmaps and engineering standards in early-stage environments
