Senior Web Developer

Analysts across the National System for Geospatial Intelligence currently hunt for finished GEOINT products across roughly fifteen fragmented discovery applications. We're building the one that replaces them: a production discovery and presentation layer for searching, visualizing, and retrieving GEOINT products across the enterprise. That means on-demand HTML generation for eleven approved product types, spatial and temporal and metadata search with government-supplied LLM assist, interactive map visualizations, fine-grained multi-level access control with full audit logging, and integration with the agency's production and dissemination services — deployed to classified networks through an established release train. Support requirements analysis, web development, and software integration for the discovery and presentation layer Consult with analysts and mission users to define web-based requirements and problem areas, and apply technical expertise to deliver solutions Build interactive map and geospatial visualization interfaces and the search experience that sits on top of enterprise product services Implement on-demand product rendering (HTML generation across multiple standardized product types) driven by JSON-conformant product data Build front-end enforcement of fine-grained, entitlement-based access control and the audit logging that goes with it Evaluate and integrate government and commercial off-the-shelf (GOTS/COTS) web applications to satisfy user requirements Perform studies and analyses, provide advisory services, and develop recommendations and proposals in the area of web technology Follow formal web development methodologies, adhering to design specifications, design techniques, standards, and established development guidelines Develop, test, and maintain technical web documentation supporting application maintenance and deployment; assist with user and administrator documentation Work independently and lead mid-level and junior personnel; interface directly with government leads and users for requirements capture and status Operate in an Agile process, contributing to a delivery standard of ≥90% test coverage and single-command build and deploy What You Must HaveActive TS/SCI clearance, with willingness to sit for a CI polygraph on request8+ years of professional experience, with significant technical and management knowledgeBA/BS in a related field (MA/MS or MBA preferred), or 10–15 years of experience in the labor category in lieu of a degreeStrong modern front-end engineering skills — JavaScript/TypeScript and a current framework (React, Angular, or Vue), plus HTML/CSS depthExperience building data-dense search and discovery interfaces over REST or GraphQL APIsExperience with web mapping / geospatial visualization libraries (Leaflet, OpenLayers, Cesium, Mapbox GL, or ArcGIS JS API)Backend familiarity sufficient to integrate cleanly with services and shape the contracts you consumeExperience deploying to containerized environments (OpenShift or Kubernetes) via CI/CDAbility to work independently, lead others, and interface directly with a government customer Nice to HavePrior work in an NGA or Intelligence Community environment; familiarity with GEOINT product workflows or finished-intelligence disseminationSection 508 / accessibility compliance experienceExperience with multi-level security (MLS) or entitlement-driven access control in a classified systemFamiliarity with ICD 503 assessment and authorization, software approval processes, and delivery across C2S / SC2S / UC2S environmentsSAFe or another scaled Agile frameworkExperience integrating LLM-assisted search or retrieval into a user-facing applicationUX collaboration experience — running mockups through customer review and back into the build About TRIUMVRTRIUMVR is a Virginia-based, minority-owned Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business building software for the national security mission.
