Role Description
This is a unpaid part-time remote internship position.
Mentorship directly from a top-tier university PhD, including a weekly 1-hour 1-on-1 guidance session.
Responsibilities
Frontend Development
Develop and iterate on core features of our app using Swift / SwiftUI / React / React NativeCollaborate with product, design, and AI teams to build intuitive user experiencesOptimize app performance, stability, and usabilityParticipate in architecture discussions and technical decision-making (based on experience)
Backend / Full-Stack Development
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIsSupport integrations with AI models, design data, user, and order systemsContribute to database design, system performance optimization, and securityWork closely with frontend engineers to ship features quickly
Qualification
Currently pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field (BS / MS / PhD)Experience with at least one of the following:Frontend: Swift, SwiftUI, UIKit, React, React NativeBackend: Node.js, Python, TypeScript, Java, Go, FastAPI, Strong interest in building real-world products from 0 to 1Solid coding habits and understanding of software engineering fundamentalsSelf-motivated, proactive, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup environmentDevelop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and AWS deployment workflows to support scalable application delivery and continuous integration processes.Professional in both Chinese and English.
