Chief Technology Officer

Sarvanam Software Pvt. Ltd. is looking for an experienced and visionary Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to lead our technology strategy, software architecture, engineering standards, and product modernization initiatives. The CTO will play a key leadership role in transforming our existing legacy software products into modern, scalable, secure, maintainable, and future-ready platforms using contemporary Microsoft technologies and modern software engineering practices. The ideal candidate will combine strong technical expertise with strategic thinking and leadership capability, with experience in software architecture, .NET technologies, databases, application modernization, system integration, and engineering team management. Key Responsibilities Define and execute the company's technology strategy and roadmap in alignment with business objectives.Lead the modernization and transformation of existing legacy software products and platforms.Establish scalable and maintainable software architecture, development standards, and engineering practices.Lead architecture and technology decisions involving C#, .NET, ASP.NET Core, Web API, REST APIs, cloud technologies, and modern application frameworks.Evaluate existing systems and develop practical strategies for migration, refactoring, re-engineering, and modernization.Lead database architecture, optimization, and modernization using Microsoft SQL Server.Review and optimize complex SQL queries, Stored Procedures, database design, indexing, and data-access architecture.Establish standards for application performance, scalability, security, reliability, and maintainability.Drive API-first architecture and integration with internal and third-party systems.Introduce and promote modern development practices including CI/CD, automated testing, version control, code review, DevOps, and quality assurance.Establish technical governance, coding standards, documentation standards, and development processes.Conduct and lead architecture reviews, technical design reviews, and code reviews.Identify technical risks, legacy technology limitations, and opportunities for improvement.Work closely with the CEO, management, product, project, and business teams to translate business requirements into effective technology solutions.Lead, mentor, and develop the software engineering team and build a strong technical culture.Guide developers in adopting modern technologies, design patterns, clean architecture, SOLID principles, and best practices.Plan and manage technology resources, development priorities, technical projects, and modernization initiatives.Evaluate new technologies, frameworks, tools, and platforms and recommend solutions based on business value and long-term sustainability.Ensure that technology platforms are designed with appropriate security, backup, disaster recovery, monitoring, and business continuity considerations.Support product innovation and the development of new technology-driven solutions for the hospitality and tourism industry. Required Qualifications & Experience Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.3+ years of professional software development experience, with significant experience in technical leadership or architecture roles.Strong hands-on expertise in C# and .NET / ASP.NET Core.Strong understanding of software architecture, system design, design patterns, and enterprise application development.Extensive experience with Microsoft SQL Server, database architecture, performance tuning, and Stored Procedures.Strong experience with REST APIs, Web API, JSON, web services, and system integrations.Proven experience in legacy application modernization, migration, refactoring, and re-engineering.Good understanding of cloud technologies, DevOps, CI/CD, containerization, and modern deployment practices.Strong knowledge of Git and modern software development workflows.Experience with application security, performance optimization, scalability, and high-availability systems.Strong understanding of SOLID principles, clean architecture, coding standards, and software quality practices.Experience leading and mentoring software development teams.Strong analytical, problem-solving, decision-making, and communication skills.
