Role Description This is a full-time remote position for a Senior Cloud Developer specializing in AWS Lambda, Python, and Terraform. The Senior Cloud Developer will design and develop robust cloud-based applications, implement serverless computing solutions, and build infrastructure automation scripts using Terraform. They will collaborate with cross-functional teams to assess project requirements, troubleshoot issues, and optimize performance. Additionally, the Cloud Developer will ensure best practices in cloud architecture, monitor system performance, and provide ongoing support for deployed solutions. Qualifications Proficiency in Software Development with advanced expertise in Python, AWS Lambda development, and serverless frameworksStrong knowledge of Cloud Computing and Infrastructure, including AWS suite (e.g., EC2, S3, IAM, CloudFormation) and proficiency in Terraform for Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Experience with Linux environments, including configuration, scripting, and troubleshootingExpertise in databases, particularly relational databases (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL) and an understanding of database optimization and managementDemonstrated ability to work independently in remote and cross-functional team environmentsStrong problem-solving skills and ability to design scalable solutionsPrior experience with cloud architecture design and serverless application developmentProfessional certifications in AWS or Terraform are a strong plus12–15+ years U.S. experienceStrong cloud-native backgroundAWS Lambda (Python)Terraform (IaC)KafkaSystem design understandingAPI GatewayJava background and has transitioned to AWS/Python/serverlessStrong communication with non-technical stakeholdersStrong Pythin hands on coding
