Junior Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) Location: United States Job Type: Full-Time Job OverviewWe are seeking a motivated and technically minded Junior Cloud Engineer (Entry-Level / Associate) to support the design, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of cloud-based infrastructure and services. This role is ideal for candidates who want to develop their cloud engineering skills while working with experienced IT and engineering teams. The successful candidate will assist with cloud environments, automation, troubleshooting, security, and infrastructure operations. Key ResponsibilitiesAssist with deploying and maintaining cloud infrastructure and services.Support cloud environments such as AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform (GCP).Monitor cloud systems, applications, and infrastructure performance.Assist with troubleshooting cloud infrastructure and connectivity issues.Support the implementation of cloud security and access controls.Assist with infrastructure automation and configuration management.Maintain technical documentation, system configurations, and operational procedures.Support backup, recovery, and disaster recovery processes.Work with development and IT teams to support application deployments.Assist with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps-related activities.Monitor system logs and help identify potential performance or availability issues.Participate in cloud migration and infrastructure improvement projects.Perform other cloud engineering and IT support duties as assigned.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field preferred.0–2 years of experience in cloud computing, IT infrastructure, system administration, or a related field.Basic understanding of cloud computing concepts and infrastructure.Familiarity with at least one cloud platform such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.Basic knowledge of Linux and/or Windows server environments.Familiarity with networking concepts such as TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, and firewalls.Basic scripting knowledge in Python, Bash, PowerShell, or a similar language.Familiarity with Git and version control systems.Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.Good communication and teamwork abilities.Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.Preferred QualificationsAWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, Microsoft Azure Fundamentals, Google Cloud Digital Leader, or similar certification.Familiarity with Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, or other infrastructure tools.Basic knowledge of CI/CD and DevOps practices.Understanding of cloud security and identity/access management.Experience with academic, personal, internship, or portfolio cloud projects.Strong willingness to learn new cloud technologies and tools.
