Commensurate with education and experience Job Overview Airco are looking to recruit an experienced Air Conditioning & Refrigeration Service Engineer, with a positive and pro-active approach to ensure effective service delivery to our clients. We work for a prestigious customer base in a wide range of sectors including; pharmaceuticals, petrochemical, telecoms, education, IT, retail, healthcare & local authorities. Airco are a forward-thinking & progressive company, and this is a fantastic opportunity for like-minded engineers. We currently have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced F-Gas Airconditioning & Refrigeration Engineer to support our growing Engineering team. You will be part of a team of Engineers who support Airco in providing a service to our growing and highly prestigious client base in the London and surrounding areas. The role will be very varied from carrying out planned and preventative maintenance to responding to service calls. Location: Swindon Salary: Upto £22 per hour – dependent on Experience Benefits: Enhanced Holidays, Birthday day off, Long service awards, Enhanced sick pay, Bike to work scheme, referral scheme, Home support and Health cash plans. Responsibilities and Duties. Mobile engineerEffectively diagnose, identify faults and failures with equipment and systems, providing effective solutionsCarry out routine planned preventative maintenanceWork to the highest standards of workmanship and safetyConduct & promote best practice.Take part in 24hr call out rotaAssist in site surveys, reports and quotes for new & existing customers.Qualifications and Skills Key requirements. Minimum NVQ Level 2 in Refrigeration & Air Conditioning, you will be F-Gas/EN 378 compliantProficient technical knowledge in refrigeration & electrical principlesAn individual with hands-on experience working with VRV systems, cold rooms, close control units, chilled water systems, and chillers.Fault finding experience on range of equipment, including data centre cooling & water chillersGood understanding of industry standards, legislation and compliance requirementsPositive and pro-active approachWell-organised and effective communicatorHigh level of professionalism & customer serviceFlexibleBenefits The Package.
