Located in Colorado Springs, CO, this role is essential for supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels. This position does not provide relocation assistance and requires on-site work with no remote options. Position Overview The Command, Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a crucial component of the Missile Defense System. It is an essential operational system that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at the strategic, regional, and operational levels to systematically plan ballistic missile defense operations, collectively monitor the battle, and dynamically control networked sensors and weapon systems to achieve global and regional mission objectives. C2BMC supports layered missile defense capabilities, enabling a responsive approach to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by networking, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations worldwide and regionally to enhance performance. C2BMC is vital for all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the current and future capabilities of missile defense systems. As a member of the Regional Applications Agile Release Train (RA ART) of the Missile Defense National Team for Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) (also known as C2BMC NT), this position will be responsible for supporting the design, implementation, testing, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines and automation tools that enable the delivery of mission-critical software. Essential Functions Performs analysis and provides technical support for GitLab pipelines and related DevOps tools, including troubleshooting complex pipeline and integration problemsMaintains, debugs, and configures CI/CD workflows and related systems across development, testing, and production environmentsDevelops or improves automated build, test, and deployment processes based on defined requirements and specificationsSupports pipeline design, scripting, testing, debugging, and documentation to ensure consistent and dependable software releasesCollaborate with development, manual and automated testing, and operations teams to implement code quality checks, generate metrics, automate processes, and establish deployment standards aligned with SDLC and DevOps best practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to resolve system and pipeline issues, contribute to standards, and enhance the overall efficiency of the software delivery lifecycleParticipates in designing, coding, testing, and implementing tools that support infrastructure and operations automationBasic Qualifications Please list your current security clearance and IAT or relevant certifications on your resume, if applicable. A Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university, along with 5 years of experience; or a Master’s degree in a related field with 3 years of relevant work experience; or 9 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degreeApplicants must have a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+ CE, CCNA-Security, CySA+, CND, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start.
