The successful candidate will be responsible for defining product vision and strategy, prioritizing product backlogs, coordinating balanced Agile teams, managing stakeholder relationships, identifying and mitigating risks, and ensuring the successful delivery of customer-focused products. Experience working with business teams, product owners, UX designers, and development teams in complex environments is essential. Key Responsibilities Relationship Management – 35%Communicate and mediate effectively with business teams and core team members to ensure products progress according to schedule and product road map.Build teams, establish consensus, and maintain strong stakeholder relationships.Develop and implement strategies to overcome resistance to change.Identify and capitalize on forces supporting change throughout product delivery stages, including Discovery, Alpha, Beta, and Live or similar methodologies.Maintain alignment among product teams, stakeholders, sponsors, and senior management. Product Management, Risk, Issues, Scheduling & Reporting – 35%Articulate the product vision and product strategy to provide clear direction to the product team.Prioritize product features and manage the product backlog.Establish and track measurable product objectives and success criteria.Develop, maintain, and communicate product road maps covering current, near-term, and future priorities.Identify potential risk events and issues proactively and develop appropriate mitigation strategies.Assess and prioritize risks and issues at program management and senior executive levels.Recommend mitigation strategies and provide decision support to senior stakeholders.Deliver products using balanced teams consisting of product owners, UX designers, and developers through Agile/Scrum methodologies.Apply Scrum Master practices where required; Scrum Master experience is preferred.Gather and develop requirements to create and maintain detailed product schedules and/or integrated plans.Prepare product, program, and/or portfolio reporting for multiple senior-level stakeholders.Participate in steering committees and stakeholder forums.Determine when software and product features are ready for release to maximize customer value and feedback.Continually de-risk product direction using validated customer needs and business opportunities.Communicate product direction, decisions, progress, and risks effectively to stakeholders and sponsors.
