Description

We’re recruiting for a high-impact onsite Power Electronics R&D Engineer opportunity with a global technology client in the Fremont, CA area. This role is focused on advanced power electronics, power conversion, AC/DC, DC/DC, HVDC/DC, inverter-based systems, and next-generation high-power conversion platforms for advanced infrastructure, data center power, EV charging, charging systems, and energy storage applications. This role requires a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering, Power Electronics, Power Conversion, or a closely related field. Relocation to Fremont, CA is required and assistance is available for qualified North American candidates, and visa support may be considered, including H1B transfer, TN, and Green Card candidates. Travel is approximately 20–25%, including international travel to Europe and Asia. This is not a sustaining engineering or production support role. The focus is advanced development, prototyping, platform design, lab validation, and solving complex high-power engineering challenges at the kW to MW scale.
