OPENLANE is seeking a Microsoft Dynamics Developer to join our team in Chester, England. This key role provides software development expertise for the delivery and execution of OPENLANE Remarketing Ltd Microsoft BC/NAV activities. In this role, you will work with experts in a variety of fields and other BC/NAV software developers in building digital automotive remarketing products. Activities include validating technical requirements, scoping, planning and designing to ensure suitable solutions. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience with automobile remarketing, Microsoft Dynamics NAV or Microsoft Dynamics Business Central, cloud computing, as well as proven experience as a software developer Requirements Duties & Responsibilities: Be the Senior Developer responsible for the smooth running of BC/NAV systems and devsFull lifecycle application developmentDesigning, coding and debugging applications in Business Central and/or Dynamics NAVUphold use of best practise design & code patternsCode reviewsCoach and mentor junior team membersInvestigate, analyse and document reported defectsPerform maintenance programming and correction of identified defectsWork closely with the businessTranslate business requirements into working systems Create, document, and implement unit test plans, scripts, and test harnessesCreate and maintain technical documentation using defined technical documentation templatesEvaluate, identify and select appropriate new technologies for implementation Must haves: 2+ years BC/NAV development experience in a commercial environment2+ years GIT experienceExcellent C/Side or AL skills Excellent understanding of core BC/NAV modulesSystems integration experience via RESTful and/or SOAP servicesExcellent communication skills and a willingness to speak with the business Desirable skills: Cloud Technologies (Azure and/or AWS)CI/CD pipelinePowerShellAzure DevOpsSalesforce.NETNAV/BC performance tuningExperience of using verticals such as Jet AnalyticsBest practice code & architectural patternsCommercial experience within the motor industry Benefits PAY & BENEFITS At OPENLANE Europe, pay is determined based on role impact, experience, skills and internal fairness.
