About Job: We are looking for a Lead Quality Assurance Engineer having 12+ years of experience in core banking domain. The ideal candidate will not only possess deep domain knowledge and strong QA skills but also demonstrate the ability to lead QA initiatives, mentor team members, and collaborate cross-functionally to ensure delivery of high-quality financial products. What you will be doing: Develop high quality test strategy/plans, test cases and ensuing complete executionReview analysis documents, and testing requirements, assess the impact on test plans and schedulesDefines, designs, and delivers all testing work, including Functional Testing, System Integration TestingPerform regression, functional, integration, system testingRegression, and support User Acceptance Testing (undertaken by subject matter experts situated within the business)Organizes and maintains the test script libraryMonitors, measures, control, and reports to management on test progress, product quality, test results, and test completionTargets ‘Zero UAT defects’ that the delivered software application to the customer. Should be able to take responsibility and initiative in the job's decision-making and implementation phases. Collect information, analyze data, reach a result, and give the quality level of application based on objective quality metrics.Participates in daily stand-up meetings, defect triage callsResponsible for working with third party suppliers/clients for defect managementLeads the QA (Quality Assurance) activities of one or more projectsProvides leadership and guidance to the test team on best practicesCollaborates with team members. Works closely with analysts, developers, and project managers to ensure that the software application is delivered on time and meets the quality targets.Supports tests manager to identify risks and develop mitigation strategies. What we are looking for: 12+ years of experience in software QA, with at least 5+ years in a QA leadership or team lead roleExperience about software Testing Concepts, STLC and SDLCExperience on test planning, developing test strategy and quality reportingExperience with methods, tools, and technology used in software testingHas expertise and knowledge on black box test techniquesAbility to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees, clients and has expertise and knowledge on test case execution, test case preparationKnowledge of SQL query language and scriptingHas practical knowledge of using developer tools (JavaScript Debug/Chrome/Firefox/etc...)The ability to test Web Service APIs (REST/SOAP) using SoapUI/Posman etc.Ability to search logs or crash reports to help isolate and identify the root cause of issuesExperience with automation testing is a plusProven analytical and problem-solving skillsDemonstrated interpersonal and teambuilding skills, working with technical and non-technical individualsExcellent communication skills are essential for Quality Assurance Specialists to collaborate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.Skilled in both manual and automated testing, with proficiency in tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Postman, JIRA, TestRailWillingness and ability to travel frequently to Townsville, Queensland, as required.
