About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and proactive IT Operations Engineer to join our team in the Greeneville, TN area.
In this hybrid role, you will be responsible for maintaining, optimizing, and securing our core IT infrastructure, ensuring maximum uptime, system reliability, and seamless technology operations.
Responsibilities
Monitor, maintain, and support core server infrastructure, network equipment, and cloud environments.Provide Advanced (Tier 2/3) technical support to resolve complex hardware, software, and network incidents.Implement system upgrades, security patches, system backups, and proactive maintenance routines.Enforce cybersecurity best practices and manage identity and access management (Active Directory / Entra ID).Automate routine operational tasks using scripting (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).Collaborate with internal teams to support hardware provisioning and infrastructure project rollouts.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of hands-on experience in IT operations, systems engineering, or system administration.Technical Skills: Strong proficiency with Windows/Linux Server environments, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, VPNs, and TCP/IP networking.Cloud Infrastructure: Practical experience with cloud platforms (Microsoft Azure or AWS).Scripting: Ability to write and maintain automation scripts (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).Education: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
