Role Description The Workday Extend Developer is a full-time, on-site role based in San Jose, CA.
This position is responsible for designing, building, and deploying applications and extensions on the Workday platform using Workday Extend, including custom user interfaces, business processes, and integrations.
Day-to-day tasks include collaborating with HR, Finance, and IT stakeholders to gather requirements, translating functional needs into technical solutions, and maintaining existing Workday Extend applications for performance, security, and usability.
The developer will troubleshoot issues, perform unit and integration testing, document technical designs, and support deployment and change management activities.
The role also involves staying current with Workday releases and best practices and recommending enhancements that improve system efficiency and user experience.
