Backend Developer

Job Summary The Backend Developer is responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust and scalable backend systems that power data-driven and AI applications. This role requires strong expertise in Java or Golang, as well as a solid understanding of databases, distributed systems, and cloud platforms. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in developing APIs, optimizing high-performance applications, and integrating backend services with Big Data and AI pipelines. Success in this role requires strong collaboration skills, problem-solving ability, and a commitment to delivering high-quality, reliable code within deadlines. Key Responsibilities Design and implement scalable and efficient backend solutions to support Big Data and AI-driven applications.Develop and maintain server-side logic primarily using Java (Spring Boot) and Golang.Collaborate with frontend developers, data engineers, and AI/ML teams to integrate user-facing elements and data pipelines with backend services.Perform additional tasks as assigned by the Line Manager.Build and maintain RESTful APIs and gRPC services to enable high-performance data exchange.Optimize applications for concurrency, performance, and high availability.Write efficient, reusable, and testable code with proper documentation.Manage and optimize relational and non-relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL, MongoDB, Elasticsearch).Ensure backend systems are secure, fault-tolerant, and cloud-ready.
