As a Lead Developer, you will be part of the core infrastructure development team responsible for developing and maintaining application systems and framework infrastructure for a state of the art internet based electronic commodities and futures exchange. The platform consists of a mathematically complex, multi-threaded server side applications with low latency and high throughput requirements. The ideal candidate will be results-oriented, self-motivated and have the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. This role requires frequent interactions with project and product managers, developers, quality assurance and other stakeholders, in order to ensure delivery of a world class platform to our users. Responsibilities Design, develop, maintain and support various components of the ICE Trading PlatformFollow team guidelines for quality and consistency within the design and development phases of applicationsIndependently handle project activities related to builds and deploymentsCreate design documentation for new software developmentProvide support for production applicationsProvide support for deployments during maintenance windowsIdentify opportunities to improve and optimize applicationsWork with business analysts or product management in understanding new requirementsFollow company software development processes and standards Knowledge And Experience Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field7+ years of C++ development experienceStrong understanding of modern C++ & STL (up to and including C++11/14/17)Experience with development of multithreaded applicationsExperience with low latency and high throughput systemsAptitude and interest in mathematics and financial marketsStrong interpersonal skills and ability to work well in a team environment Preferred Knowledge And Experience C++20, C++23Valgrind, CMake, Ruby, Conan, Jenkins, Python, Groovy, rpmExperience with equity and commodity derivativesExperience in Financial Services or Fintech Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
