A software engineering opportunity to design, implement, and maintain backend services for a complex technology platform. The role emphasizes reliability, scalability, quality engineering, and teamwork.
Highlights
Full-time engineering role focused on building reliable backend services, scalable systems, clean code practices, and collaborative development.
Description
Company Description Helm is a flight simulator platform designed for strategic decision making, enabling organizations to test and understand complex scenarios before acting.
Our agentic simulations model population-scale human behavior as dynamic chain reactions, showing how decisions propagate across networks.
Helm captures how customer actions, corporate responses, and regulatory changes trigger cascading reactions at multiple levels.
This approach helps teams anticipate outcomes, reduce risk, and make informed choices in fast-changing environments.
Helm values rigorous engineering, thoughtful design, and collaborative problem-solving.
Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Software Engineer role based in Bellevue, WA.
The Software Engineer will design, implement, and maintain backend services that power Helm’s simulation platform, focusing on performance, scalability, and reliability.
Day-to-day responsibilities include writing clean, testable code, reviewing peer code, and collaborating with product and research teams to translate complex behavioral models into robust software systems.
The role also involves integrating data sources, optimizing algorithms, troubleshooting production issues, and contributing to architectural decisions.
The Software Engineer will participate in iterative development processes, documentation, and continuous improvement of engineering practices.
