Highlights

Work directly on complex technical deployments, solving customer challenges and turning solutions into reusable capabilities.

Description

AI is moving faster than enterprise security teams can adapt. The old playbook of buying another tool, generating more alerts, and adding more services headcount no longer works. Alerts are not outcomes. We recently led the seed investment in a cybersecurity company building an AI-native platform for complex enterprise environments. We pair intelligent agents with deeply technical engineers to adapt the platform to each customer’s systems, workflows, and risks, delivering measurable results. The founding team has decades of experience building and scaling cybersecurity businesses valued at more than $10 billion. Now, they’re rethinking how security work gets done in the age of AI. The Role: As one of the early FDEs, you will embed with enterprise teams and own deployments from problem definition through production. You will write code, debug unfamiliar systems, build integrations, and turn what you learn into reusable product capabilities. This role requires the independence of a founder, the technical ability of an engineer, and the judgment to earn a customer’s trust. The scope is rare: you will own meaningful problems end to end and be accountable for the outcome, not just your piece of the work. What We’re Looking For: Strong computer science and software engineering fundamentals, developed through a degree or equivalent experience. The ability to write code and debug unfamiliar systems. The ability to learn quickly in demanding environments.Clear communication and the ability to earn trust with technical and business leaders.Product judgment: knowing what should remain customer-specific and what should become part of the platform.Curiosity, perseverance, and ownership when the answer is unclear.Comfort moving between engineering, product, and customer problems.Willingness to travel and work alongside customers. Cybersecurity experience is helpful but not required. Technical depth, learning speed, and judgment matter more. Why Join: As coding becomes easier, the ability to identify the right problem, understand the customer, navigate real-world constraints, and deliver an outcome will become more valuable. You will develop those skills while working directly with experienced founders and seeing the entire journey from customer problem to deployed solution to product improvement. Few early-career roles offer this level of ownership, exposure, and opportunity to shape a company. Location: Remote within the United States when not at customer sites Travel: Regular customer-site travel
