Title: Sr. Developer Java Location: Tampa, FL Work Mode: Onsite Java Developer – Java + Kubernetes + Kafka + Spring Boot Job Description / Responsibilities Participate in various phases of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) within a highly dynamic Agile environment. Develop and maintain applications using Java, Spring Boot, Microservices, Kafka, and Kubernetes. Leverage GitHub Copilot and Claude Code for software development. Troubleshoot, debug, upgrade, and enhance software applications. Test applications and resolve bugs and other coding issues. Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality solutions and continuously learn new technologies and skills. Take ownership of deliverables and work independently with minimal supervision. Required Skills Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience. 12+ years of software development experience. Strong proficiency in: Java Spring / Spring Boot Microservices Kafka – very strong experience required Kubernetes Spring Security Hands-on experience with GitHub Copilot and Claude Code. Strong experience with SQL and Oracle Database. Experience in performance tuning. Experience with build and deployment tools such as Jenkins. Strong communication and collaboration skills. Experience delivering projects using Scrum/Agile methodologies. Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Self-starter with strong ownership, attention to detail, and ability to learn quickly. Preferred Skills Banking domain experience. Knowledge of Banking ISO / SWIFT standards. Experience working in large-scale financial services environments.
