Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.2 years of experience with software development or 1 year of experience with an advanced degree in an industry setting.2 years of experience with developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems or networks, or experience with compute technologies or storage.Experience in Go and Infrastructure as Code.Experience with Generative AI/ML infrastructure, and agent AI harnesses.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Computer Science or related technical fields.Experience with general cloud technologies, or with deploying large-scale cloud infrastructure, cloud system design or API designs.Demonstrated ability to navigate ambiguity, drive technical strategy, and collaborate effectively across cross-functional engineering and product teams.

In this role, you will manage and produce the official IaC management surface—the Terraform Provider for Google Cloud, provide Terraform coverage for APIs produced by GCP teams, applying agentic AI to transform the traditional manual authoring, testing and reviewing process into automatic code generation, issue triage and fixing, testing and release management.
Having a chance to work on the primary IaC tool that is used by the largest GCP customers, come to join the effort to build an exceptional IaC management surface and push through the agentic AI transformation of the end-to-end development cycle.

US: $147000 - $210000 (USD) + 15% bonus target + equity + benefits

Write product or system development code.Participate in, or lead design reviews with peers and stakeholders to decide amongst available technologies.Review code developed by other developers and provide feedback to ensure best practices (e.g., style guidelines, checking code in, accuracy, testability, and efficiency).Contribute to existing documentation or educational content and adapt content based on product/program updates and user feedback.Triage product or system issues and debug/track/resolve by analyzing the sources of issues and the impact on hardware, network, or service operations and quality.
