NetDevOps Engineer

Job Title: NetDevOps Engineer – Network Security Automation Location: Onsite 3 days a week (Monday-Wednesday) in Cary, NC Duration: 12 Months Position Summary: As an NetDevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for complex network deployments while collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery and high network availability. The individual should not only be technically sound but also passionate about innovation, continuous learning, and driving meaningful change. What You’ll Do Plan, design, and execute deployment of network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless systems across multiple sitesDesign and implement Infrastructure as Code solutions using tools like Terraform, CloudFormation, or AnsibleCollaborate with operations and engineering teams to improve network design, optimize performance, and reduce latencyAutomate deployment and monitor tasks using scripting and configuration management toolsAnalyze current network deployments and propose improvements for scalability, security, and efficiencyInfluence technical direction by identifying trends and recommending innovative solutions and architectures Skills You’ll Need Proven experience with working in a corporate global network environment, ideally with financial institutionsUnderstanding of networking protocols (BGP, OSPF, MPLS, STP, VXLAN, etc.)Experience with hardware from Cisco, Juniper, Arista, Fortinet or equivalentCertified technical engineer (typically Cisco CCNA or comparable)
