Senior DevOps/Platform Engineer – Level III
A client in Houston, Texas, is seeking a Senior (Level III) DevOps/Platform Engineer to design, build, and operate scalable AWS infrastructure and DevOps solutions supporting AI, Data Science, and Application Engineering workloads.
Position Details
Location: Downtown Houston, TXSchedule: On-site, 5 days per week — no remote workCandidate Requirement: Must already live in the Houston areaRequirements
5+ years of experience working in the AWS ecosystem as a DevOps/Platform Engineer, with deep AWS expertise5+ years of experience with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Terraform or CloudFormation5+ years supporting Kubernetes and container orchestration5+ years of scripting/programming experience using Python, Bash, Shell, or similar industry-standard tools5+ years of Linux/Unix experience5+ years of experience with code repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, or Azure DevOps5+ years supporting CI/CD tools such as GitHub Actions, ArgoCD, Jenkins, or similarStrong understanding of cloud networking, security, and architecture patternsExcellent troubleshooting and incident-response skillsAWS Architecture certification preferred
