Company Description Goodness Labs is a venture studio focused on building science-backed health companies across precision nutrition, women’s health, longevity, and consumer wellness. Role Description This part-time Full Stack Shopify Developer role is a hybrid position based in Gold Coast, QLD, with flexibility for some work from home. The role involves building, customizing, and maintaining Shopify storefronts and related web applications across our portfolio brands. Day-to-day tasks include implementing front-end themes, optimizing user interfaces for speed and responsiveness, and developing back-end logic to support subscriptions, personalization flows, and integrations. The developer will collaborate with product, design, and marketing teams to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions, troubleshoot issues, and continuously improve site performance and reliability. Responsibilities also include maintaining clean, well-documented code, ensuring secure and scalable implementations, and staying current with Shopify ecosystem updates and best practices. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong Front-End Development skills, including experience with Shopify themes, HTML, JavaScript, and Cascading Style Sheets (CSS).Candidates should possess solid Back-End Web Development skills, including building and maintaining APIs, integrating third-party services, and working with Shopify Liquid and related tooling.Candidates should possess Full-Stack Development and broader Software Development skills, enabling end-to-end implementation from data models to user interfaces.Experience with Shopify Plus, headless commerce architectures, or modern JS frameworks (e.g., React, Vue) is beneficial.Understanding of eCommerce best practices, performance optimization, accessibility, and SEO for online stores is advantageous.Ability to collaborate in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, manage priorities in a part-time setting, and work effectively in a hybrid environment.Relevant tertiary qualification in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical experience is preferred.
