We've teamed up with a really exciting HealthTech company in their search for a Staff Interoperability Engineer (Healthcare Data).
This is a fantastic opportunity to be a part of an organization who is solving some of the most challenging problems with the Healthcare Industry today.
These Solutions are Built From Scratch, They Do Not Use MIRTH or Similar Tools.
As the Staff Interoperability Engineer, you will design, develop, and maintain large-scale healthcare interoperability solutions using FHIR, HL7, SMART on FHIR, and cloud-native technologies to enable secure, real-time health data exchange.
You'll build and optimize scalable data pipelines, API integrations, conversion engines, and validation frameworks while ensuring data quality, security, regulatory compliance, and cross-functional collaboration.

What We're Looking for in a Staff Interoperability Engineer:
Experience:
8+ Years of Technology Experience with a Focus on Data/Software Engineering5+ Years in Healthcare and/or Healthcare InteroperabilityVery Strong Python Development Skills; experience with Java, JavaScript/TypeScript, Go, or C# Preferred3+ Years designing and implementing production FHIR R4 solutionsExperience delivering Healthcare Data Exchange Systems at Scale (millions of patient records)Hands-on experience with multiple EMR platforms (Epic, Cerner, athenahealth, Meditech, etc.)Experience implementing CMS-compliant Patient Access or Bulk FHIR APIs.Experience integrating with HIEs/HINs and national interoperabilityBachelor's Degree or Higher in a STEM Field
Knowledge and Expertise:
Highly Proficient in HL7 FHIR R4, US Core IG, SMART on FHIR, HL7 v2.x, and C-CDAHealthcare Terminologies (SNOMED CT, LOINC, Rx Norm, ICD-10)CMS interoperability regulations, ONC certification, and the 21st Century Cures Act
Technical Skills:
