The opportunity The Service Delivery Center is made up of high-performing, U.S.-based professionals who work closely with EY engagement teams to deliver project-based work and managed services to government clients. The Service Delivery Center is a core component of the Government & Public Sector practice. We currently have an opportunity for an AI Solution Development Senior to join our growing AI & Data practice. In this role, you will design and build innovative AI-enabled solutions, including proofs of concept, prototypes, reusable accelerators, and production-ready applications. You will own defined features or technical workstreams and contribute throughout the solution lifecycle, from requirements and design through development, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement. You will collaborate with engagement teams, technical specialists, and client stakeholders to translate defined business and mission needs into working technology. Your primary focus will be hands-on technical delivery, solution quality, and the successful completion of assigned workstreams. Your Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and improve AI-enabled applications, proofs of concept, prototypes, and reusable technical componentsOwn defined features or technical workstreams and coordinate their delivery from initial requirements through implementationTranslate business, functional, and technical requirements into solution components, development tasks, acceptance criteria, and testable outcomesDevelop AI-enabled web applications using modern front-end and back-end technologiesIntegrate generative AI models and services into applications using APIs, cloud services, and approved open-source frameworksBuild retrieval-augmented generation solutions, enterprise-search capabilities, intelligent assistants, and AI-enabled workflow automationsDevelop APIs, application services, data integrations, prompt workflows, and connections to enterprise data sourcesContribute to the evaluation of technical approaches, frameworks, models, and tools based on solution requirements, client environments, security considerations, and delivery constraintsSupport the progression of successful proofs of concept into secure, maintainable, and scalable solutions when required by the engagementApply development standards related to source control, testing, code review, documentation, security, deployment, and maintainabilityWrite clear, testable, and maintainable code aligned with established solution patterns and development standardsReview code, technical deliverables, test results, and supporting documentation produced by other team membersIdentify technical risks, dependencies, defects, and blockers, and communicate them promptly to engagement and delivery leadershipTroubleshoot and resolve complex application, We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you’ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $65,500 to $134,000. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $78,600 to $152,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model.
