Senior Flutter Developer – Front End Experience: 7+ years of mobile development, including 3+ years of production Flutter Environment: Startup / High-Growth Work Environment: 5 days onsite, Hazlet, NJ 07730 Focus: Flutter, Mobile Architecture, Scalability & Release Management Position Overview We are looking for a Senior Flutter Developer to join a fast-growing technology company and play a critical role in the next stage of an established consumer-facing mobile platform. The app is already built and in market. This person will be highly hands-on within the existing product while helping drive the architecture, scalability, and technical direction of the front-end team as the company grows. The platform supports multiple white-labeled client applications from a shared codebase, making architecture, scalability, release management, and code quality especially important. This is a true startup environment. We are looking for someone who is passionate, sharp, collaborative, and comfortable taking significant ownership. Strong communication skills are essential, as this person will work closely with leadership, backend teams, developers, product stakeholders, and clients. This position is onsite 5 days per week. What You'll Own Architecture & Scalability: Design and evolve an app architecture that supports multiple white-labeled clients using theming, feature flags, and configuration-driven builds.Flutter Development: Remain highly hands-on developing and improving an existing production Flutter application.Release & Platform Management: Own the end-to-end release pipeline across concurrent client builds, including TestFlight distribution, App Store Connect submissions, Google Play releases, versioning, and compliance issues.Third-Party Integrations: Integrate SDKs for ticketing, wallet/loyalty, payments, analytics, and real-time data feeds while isolating complexity behind clean interfaces.API Contracts: Partner proactively with backend engineering teams to define API contracts and ensure reliable communication between systems.Code Quality & Mentorship: Establish and enforce engineering standards around linting, testing strategy, architecture, and PR reviews while mentoring junior and mid-level developers.Performance & Reliability: Profile and resolve UI and performance issues related to real-time features such as live scores, loyalty programs, and in-venue commerce.Design applications for graceful degradation and reliability in challenging environments, including inconsistent venue Wi-Fi.Product & Client Fluency: Identify technical risks during sprint planning and comfortably explain technical decisions directly to clients.Help shape the structure and technical direction of a growing front-end engineering team.What You Bring 7+ years of professional mobile development experience.3+ years building production Flutter applications. Flutter is a MUST.Deep knowledge of Flutter/Dart, mobile architecture, and scalable application development.Proven experience architecting applications that support multiple clients, tenants, or brands from a single shared codebase.Deep familiarity with Apple App Store and Google Play Store release processes.Experience managing multiple concurrent application builds and releases.Production experience integrating third-party SDKs, including payments, ticketing, analytics, or similar technologies.Strong understanding of Flutter performance profiling and optimization.Experience designing scalable front-end architectures using reusable components, feature flags, theming, and configuration-driven development.A track record of mentoring engineers and establishing technical standards for a development team.Comfortable managing multiple concurrent projects and shifting priorities.Experience working in a fast-paced startup or high-growth environment with significant scale requirements.Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.Passionate about technology, product development, and building exceptional consumer experiences.Willing and able to work onsite 5 days per week.Nice to Have React experience.Experience within sports, ticketing, or live-event technology.Familiarity with loyalty programs, digital wallets, or POS integrations.Experience building applications with real-time data and live-event functionality.Experience with automated Flutter testing frameworks such as Patrol.Ideal Candidate You are a senior, hands-on Flutter engineer who thinks beyond individual tickets and features.
