Description

As a Software Architect, you give direction to develop state-of-the-art application software for challenging high-tech projects. We develop and build complex high-tech products, often at the limit of what is technologically possible. From the development of embedded software for optimal control of high-tech equipment to state-of-the-art application software, for example for operating equipment, image and data analysis, process management, and providing insight into information. From our office in Eindhoven and sometimes at our clients' premises you like to keep yourself busy with: Lead the architectural design and development of complex software systems, ensuring they meet performance, quality, and reliability requirements.Prepare offers and feasibility studies for projects in close cooperation with the project manager, the account manager and customer.Collaborate with the project manager to define the project organisation, estimate project timelines, and identify risks and related mitigation strategies.Deploy technical guidance and leadership to project teams and the development processes.Develop and support the deployment of training programs through individual coaching, training, and supervising colleagues during their assignments.Keep up with industry trends, emerging technologies, and advancements in embedded systems and application software, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation within the projects and related teams. We'd love to tell you more… Your future workplace This is what you bring to the table Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or a related field.You have gained more than 10 years of experience with technical software development in various roles and in various (product) environments and/or projects.You have experience as a software architect, and you want to expand this experience in a different environment.Proficiency in programming languages such as C# and C++ for different operating systems, including state machines and real-time aspects.You have extensive experience with various and modern development methods, tools, and technologies (OOAD, Agile, TDD, MDSD, etc.) and use these to setup appropriate development processes.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose complex software and process-related issues and implement effective solutions.You are used to working in a dynamic environment with fast-changing priorities, parallel projects, and various stakeholders with probably conflicting interests.Good communication skills, easy to present technical information to technical and non-technical partners.Valid European driving licenseWillingness to travel up to 10% worldwide.
