Description

We're building an AI travel agent for groups: your coolest, most helpful friend, inside an app. Hal, our agent, turns a vague idea into a real trip. Not a chatbot that hands you suggestions, but an agent that orchestrates tools across flight, stay, rail and ticket inventory, for a whole group at once, in a shared itinerary everyone is editing in real time. Multiplayer, generative and agentic interfaces have never been designed for travel. You get to invent them, and turn them into user intuition. Nobody here will hand you a spec. What you will mostly do Invent the interface for multiplayer AI: five friends, one live plan, and a model generating and rearranging it underneath them. Bring gusto to a category that has none, because travel interfaces are lists, filters and forms and Halcy should be something people show their friends unprompted. Make a genuinely complex product feel obvious. Own how Halcy feels, every screen and every transition. Design in code and ship every week, then watch real people use it and eliminate the hesitation. Set the craft bar for everyone who joins after you, engineers included. Must have Conceptual range: you can invent an entire interaction model from a blank canvas, discard it, and invent a better one, repeatedly. Taste, and the reasoning behind it, in a body of work where every screen looks considered. You build what you design, with React and TypeScript strong enough that you answer "can we do this?" by doing it. Command of a design system: Tailwind, shadcn/ui, motion, and the discipline to keep two hundred screens feeling like one product. Mobile-first instinct, because most of Halcy happens on a phone, one-handed, in a foreign city, on bad wifi. Bonus You have designed around generative output, where streaming, unpredictable, sometimes-wrong AI content breaks every static layout assumption. Multiplayer or realtime UX: presence, live edits, other people changing the thing you are looking at. Our stack React, TypeScript, Vite, Tailwind, shadcn/ui, Supabase and Postgres, Mapbox, Capacitor. We ship to App Store and Play Store. What you get Salary calibrated to experience, in the range above. Equity, four-year vest with a one-year cliff. Hybrid in Stockholm. Permanent license to cook.
