Position Overview
The Senior Software Engineer (.NET) is a senior technical resource responsible for the architecture, design, development, and maintenance of enterprise applications primarily built on the Microsoft technology stack.
This role leads solution design, converts business requirements into scalable system designs, and drives high-quality implementation across distributed systems.
This is a senior-level position that provides technical leadership for a pod of engineers (up to 5), ensuring delivery of robust, secure, and maintainable solutions.
The role partners closely with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams to deliver business-critical systems.
Salesforce experience is strongly preferred in environments where .NET services integrate with or extend CRM workflows.
This is a remote role, reporting directly to the Software Development Manager.
What You’ll Do
Lead design and development of scalable, high-performance applications using C# and .NET (Core/Framework)Provide technical leadership to a team of 3–5 engineers including task assignment, mentoring, and code quality oversightTranslate business and system requirements into technical designs, APIs, and servicesDrive architecture decisions including microservices, event-driven systems, and cloud-native patternsDesign and implement integration layers between .NET systems and Salesforce (REST/SOAP APIs, middleware, event streaming)Write and review technical specifications, ensuring alignment with enterprise standardsConduct advanced code reviews and enforce best practices (SOLID, clean architecture, testability)Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, and DevOps practicesCollaborate with cross-functional teams including Salesforce developers, architects, and product ownersProvide production support and lead root cause analysis for complex issues across distributed systemsParticipate in the full SDLC with strong emphasis on design, quality, and delivery
Qualifications
5 – 8 years of software engineering experience with strong focus on C# and .NET (Core preferred)Proven experience leading small engineering teams or podsDeep expertise in object-oriented design, design patterns, and distributed systems architectureStrong experience with RESTful API design, service orchestration, and integration patternsSolid understanding of database design (SQL Server, NoSQL a plus)Experience with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions), automated testing, and DevOps practices
Salesforce (Preferred)
Experience integrating .NET applications with Salesforce via REST/SOAP APIs, Platform Events, or middleware (e.g., Mulesoft)Familiarity with Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits as they relate to external integrationsExposure to Apex, Flows, and Lightning components to effectively collaborate with Salesforce engineering teamsExperience designing hybrid architectures (.NET services + Salesforce platform) for enterprise workflowsUnderstanding of data synchronization patterns, error handling, and retry strategies across platformsStrong troubleshooting, performance tuning, and debugging skills across multi-system environmentsEffective communicator capable of working across business and technical teamsAbility to operate in fast-paced environments with evolving requirements

Compensation
The estimated salary range for this role is $117,000.00 - $158,000.00, along with eligibility to earn an annual bonus.
Actual salaries may vary based on several factors, such as a candidate’s qualifications, skills and experience.
