Full-Stack Developer - Restaurant discovery platformWe're looking for a full-stack developer to help build and extend our restaurant discovery platform.
You'll work across the stack, from Postgres schema design to server-rendered pages to third-party payment and email integrations.
Compensation: 85k/year
What you'll doBuild features across the Next.js App Router: pages, API route handlers, and shared components.Design and evolve the Postgres schema with Prisma, including migrations and the data-access layer.Implement authenticated flows using better-auth (email OTP, session enrichment, role-based permissions).Integrate and maintain payment flows with Stripe and PayPal.Build accessible, themeable UI with styled-components, following a token-based design system (no hardcoded CSS values).Add and maintain translated content across locales with next-intl.Work with Cloudinary for image upload, transformation, and delivery.Implement structured data (Schema.org microdata) for restaurant listings to support SEO.Write and maintain email templates and transactional email flows.Extend the project's MCP (Model Context Protocol) server for AI tool integrations.Write component tests and keep the codebase type-safe with TypeScript.
Required skillsStrong TypeScript and React experience, ideally with React 19 and Next.js 15 (App Router).Solid understanding of relational databases and ORM tooling - Prisma with PostgreSQL preferred.Experience with server-side authentication patterns (sessions, OAuth, or similar).Comfort with CSS-in-JS (styled-components or equivalent) and building design-token-driven UI.Familiarity with internationalization (i18n) in a React/Next.js app.Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs (payments, email, media/CDN services).
