You will design, build, automate, and operate strategic Kubernetes‑based platform services that empower application teams across the bank to deploy and run secure, scalable, and resilient workloads. This role requires deep expertise in Golang, Kubernetes, cloud‑native architectures, Linux, networking, Infrastructure as Code, CI/CD, observability, and automation. You will collaborate closely with engineering, infrastructure, security, architecture, risk, and operations teams to deliver reliable platform capabilities while ensuring compliance with enterprise and regulatory standards. The ideal candidate blends strong software engineering skills with hands‑on platform operations experience and excels at communication, stakeholder management, and cross‑department collaboration. Key Responsibilities Platform Engineering & Development Design, develop, and operate Kubernetes‑based platform services using Golang.Build secure, scalable, and resilient container platform capabilities for application teams.Implement cloud‑native architectural patterns and automation workflows. Automation, CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code Develop automation for platform operations, deployments, and lifecycle management.Work with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps, Git, Argo CD, Flux, and IaC frameworks.Enhance developer experience through tooling, automation, and platform improvements. Container & Cloud Technologies Operate and optimize enterprise container platforms (Kubernetes, OpenShift).Implement service mesh technologies such as Istio or Linkerd.Work with public cloud platforms (Azure, AWS, GCP) for hybrid and multi‑cloud workloads. Observability & Reliability Build and maintain monitoring dashboards using Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.Improve observability, alerting, and reliability engineering practices.Support incident response and collaborate with operations teams to ensure platform stability. Collaboration & Governance Partner with security, risk, architecture, and compliance teams to meet regulatory requirements.Translate complex technical concepts for diverse stakeholders across the bank.Drive continuous improvement, operational excellence, and innovation within platform engineering. Must‑Have Skills 10+ years of experience in software/platform engineering.Strong expertise in Golang development.Deep knowledge of Kubernetes, container technologies, and cloud‑native architectures.Experience with Linux, networking, IaC, CI/CD, and automation.Hands‑on experience with Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana.Experience with Azure DevOps, Git, and automated deployments.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
