Event Specialist

Flow Traders is looking for a driven event specialist to join our dynamic Communications team in our Amsterdam office. You will be instrumental in transforming events from decentralized, ad-hoc activities into a structured, consistent, and measurable communications and marketing channel, that strengthens brand visibility, deepens relationships, and directly supports our strategic business priorities. What you will do Lead the end-to-end planning and execution of corporate events, including conferences, client events, and internal engagement activities Centralize and standardize event planning processes across the firm, ensuring consistent quality and execution at every touchpoint Serve as the primary point of contact for stakeholder management, aligning event objectives with business priorities and keeping all parties informed throughout Manage budgets, suppliers, venues, and external agencies, ensuring cost-effectiveness without compromising on quality Transform the firm's approach to events into a structured and measurable communications channel that supports brand visibility and relationship building Oversee multiple events simultaneously, balancing competing priorities and deadlines with confidence and precision Implement best practices and frameworks that elevate the overall standard of event delivery across the organization Apply your creativity to deliver professional and engaging events What you need to succeed University Degree 2+ years proven experience in event management, event marketing, or a related field. A strong portfolio of corporate events is a plus Demonstratable track record of planning and executing high-quality events from concept through to delivery Strong project management skills, with the ability to juggle multiple projects and stakeholders at the same time Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks Hands-on experience managing budgets, suppliers, venues, and external agencies Proactive, solution-oriented mindset Strong written communication skills, with the ability to craft clear briefs, proposals, and event-related content What we offer At Flow Traders, we create the conditions for hard‑working, high‑performing people to do their best work.
