Role Description The Technical Product Engineer is a full-time, hybrid role based in Tilburg, with flexibility for partial work from home.
In this role, you will translate customer and market needs into robust technical product designs and specifications.
You will work on the full product lifecycle, from concept and prototyping through validation, optimization, and support for manufacturing and deployment.
Day-to-day activities include conducting analyses, supporting R&D experiments, collaborating with cross-functional teams, documenting technical requirements, and contributing to continuous improvement of existing products.
You will also communicate technical findings to stakeholders, assist in troubleshooting product issues, and help ensure that Embion’s solutions align with sustainability and energy transition goals.
Qualifications
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data, model system performance, and solve complex technical problems.Experience in product engineering and product design, including developing technical specifications and working with prototypes.Effective communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and presenting technical information clearly.Background in research and development (R&D), including experimental design, testing, and documentation of results.Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in engineering (e.g., mechanical, electrical, energy, or related field) or equivalent practical experience.Understanding of energy systems, sustainability, or electrification technologies is highly beneficial.Ability to work in a hybrid environment, manage priorities independently, and maintain high attention to detail.Proficiency with relevant engineering tools and software (e.g., CAD, simulation tools, data analysis) is an advantage.
