Description

Position Overview We are looking for a Cloud/Platform Engineer to maintain uptime of an existing Azure cloud ecosystem and support hybrid infrastructure. In this role, you will lead day-to-day Azure platform operations, manage Kubernetes workloads, maintain PaaS services, and leverage Microsoft Intune to secure hybrid endpoints. You will serve as a bridge between core cloud infrastructure, on-premises environments, and endpoint management. Key Responsibilities Azure Operations & Governance: Monitor, maintain, and support Azure cloud environments, ensuring high availability, security, and cost efficiency.Hybrid Infrastructure: Administer hybrid networking, identity, and access management across Azure and on-premises environments (including Azure Arc, Entra ID, ExpressRoute, and VPNs).Kubernetes & Containerization: Manage and support Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) clusters, including deployment, scaling, image management, and ingress controls.PaaS & Serverless Management: Administer Azure PaaS offerings (App Services, Azure Functions, Azure SQL, Cosmos DB) to support modern application delivery.Endpoint & Device Management: Configure and maintain Microsoft Intune to manage enterprise hybrid devices, mobile application management (MAM), mobile device management (MDM), and compliance policies.Automation & IaC: Write and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform, Bicep, or ARM templates to automate provisioning and environment consistency.Security & Incident Response: Implement security controls using Azure Defender, Sentinel, and Key Vault; participate in on-call rotation and troubleshooting incident escalations. Required Qualifications Experience: 3–5+ years in a Cloud Engineering, System Administration, or DevOps role with a primary focus on Microsoft Azure.Platform Operations: Deep hands-on experience managing Azure core services (Virtual Networks, VMs, Storage Accounts, Entra ID/Azure AD).Containers: Proven experience administering Azure Kubernetes Service (AKS) or self-managed Kubernetes in production environments.Endpoint Administration: Proficiency with Microsoft Intune (Endpoint Manager) for configuring compliance policies, conditional access, and device deployment.Hybrid Systems: Practical knowledge of hybrid networking, hybrid identity sync, and cross-premises integration.Automation: Scripting experience with PowerShell, Azure CLI, or Python, along with IaC tools (Terraform/Bicep). Preferred Qualifications Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104), Azure Solutions Architect Expert (AZ-305), or Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102).Experience with CI/CD tools (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions).Understanding of ITIL framework and incident management practices.
