This company is industrialising their production, building the autonomous factories that mass-produce these critical materials. As a founding software engineer, you'll build the operating system for these factories: Argos. This isn't a role where you're siloed in a feature team; you'll own problems end-to-end, from supply chain orchestration to real-time factory automation and digital twins. Expect full autonomy, direct impact on physical production, and no layers of PMs or QA between you and shipping code. The work Build Argos, the OS orchestrating everything from raw material to finished part, including supply chain, quoting, and pricing.Develop Argos Sim for automated CAD, DFM, and mould generation and simulation, compressing design cycles.Engineer the factory automation layer, streaming real-time equipment and sensor data into a 24/7 digital twin.Work directly with hardware engineers in a new 36,000 sq ft facility, seeing your code impact physical production daily. What You Bring 2+ years shipping production-grade code, with experience in TypeScript (frontend) and Python or Go (backend).A track record of building and owning high-quality products at scale, ready to discuss your specific contributions.You thrive on end-to-end problem ownership, making consequential decisions independently.A strong desire to build for the physical world; experience with manufacturing, CAD, computational geometry, or 3D environments is a significant advantage.Meet ITAR requirements: US citizen, lawful permanent resident, protected individual, or eligible for required authorisations.
