Senior AWS DevOps Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior AWS DevOps Engineer to help modernize cloud infrastructure, automate application deployments, and improve the reliability and scalability of AWS environments. This is a hands-on engineering role with a strong focus on AWS, Terraform, CI/CD, containerization, and cloud automation. You’ll work across infrastructure and application teams to improve how cloud environments are built, deployed, secured, monitored, and supported. What You’ll Do Build, configure, monitor, and support infrastructure in AWSModernize on-premises applications and workloads for AWSAutomate infrastructure and application deployments using Terraform / Infrastructure as Code (IaC)Build, maintain, and improve CI/CD pipelinesDeploy and support containerized applications using Docker and AWS ECS/FargateWork across AWS services including EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatchIdentify and troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, security, and production issuesSupport monitoring, vulnerability management, audit logging, patching, and other cloud security practicesPartner with application development, infrastructure, IT, security, business, and vendor teamsHelp improve engineering efficiency through reusable infrastructure, standardized pipelines, templates, and developer self-service capabilitiesMaintain infrastructure and platform documentation Required Qualifications 4+ years of professional DevOps or similar engineering experienceStrong hands-on AWS experience, including EC2, ECS, ECR, VPC, IAM, RDS, S3, Lambda, and CloudWatchCurrent, ACTIVE AWS DevOps Engineer OR AWS DevOps Solutions Architect Associate certification (or higher) — REQUIREDHands-on experience with Terraform or similar Infrastructure as Code toolsExperience fully deploying an application or service end-to-end using IaCExperience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelinesExperience with GitHub / GitHub Actions or similar toolsDocker or similar container technology experienceProgramming/scripting experience, preferably PythonWillingness to occasionally work outside standard business hours or on weekends when required Preferred Qualifications Located within commuting distance of Princeton, NJ and open to a hybrid schedulePrevious experience in Pharmaceutical, Biotech, CRO, Life Sciences, or another regulated industryBachelor’s degree This position does not provide relocation assistance or employment sponsorship.
