About The Role
We're hiring a Middle Azure DevOps Engineer on behalf of our client, a fast-growing company focused on DevOps practices and cloud solutions, to join their team and contribute to data-intensive environments, analytics platforms, and cloud-native infrastructure.
You'll help the client's team build and improve DevOps practices, automate cloud infrastructure, and support modern data platforms running on Azure.
Whether your background is in DataOps, database administration, or infrastructure engineering for data workloads, you'll have the space to apply and expand your expertise alongside their experienced team working with modern cloud technologies.

Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps, GitHub, and GitLab Automate cloud infrastructure provisioning and management using Terraform and Azure-native services Support, optimize, and maintain environments hosting data platforms, databases, analytics solutions, and business-critical applications Collaborate with development and data teams to streamline deployment processes and improve operational efficiency Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) and contribute to platform standardization initiatives Manage and support containerized workloads using Docker and Kubernetes Monitor system performance, reliability, and availability using observability and monitoring solutions Assist in troubleshooting infrastructure, deployment, and database-related issues Participate in architectural discussions and contribute to DevOps, DataOps, and cloud platform best practices Continuously identify opportunities for automation and operational improvements
What We're Looking For
Must Have
2+ years of commercial experience as a DevOps Engineer, Cloud Engineer, DataOps Engineer, or similar role Strong hands-on experience with Azure cloud services and Azure DevOps Practical experience with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and Kubernetes Experience with Infrastructure as Code, preferably Terraform Exposure to data-oriented environments β databases, data platforms, ETL/ELT pipelines, analytics platforms, or DataOps practices Understanding of database administration concepts, performance optimization, backup strategies, and operational support Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams Clear communication and a proactive mindset English: Upper-Intermediate (B2) Ukrainian: Native
Nice to Have
Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-400, DP-203, or similar) Familiarity with SQL Server, PostgreSQL, Azure SQL, Synapse Analytics, Databricks, or similar technologies Experience supporting modern data platforms and data engineering teams Familiarity with observability tools such as Grafana, Prometheus, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, or Application Insights Knowledge of database automation, DataOps practices, and data platform operations Understanding of cloud security and governance best practices
